Ground and pound! Sometimes you're not in the best position and you have to use your head... or in this case your legs!

 



You're on your back and your attacker wants to give you a good kicking. This is the kind of scenario you won't always find in a modern Dojo but being able to deal with a situation like this could save your life. Here's Jamie defending from this position:
