Alex Boylan is an excellent massage therapist who qualified in Chinese medicine and accupuncture at Salford University. Alex joined the Bushinkai Academy five years ago having previously studied Bujinkan Ninjutsu and has since trained in Vale Tudo (Brazilian no-holds-barred). He runs an excellent healing centre in Manchester (near Kendalls). Here Alex explains his passion for his work:

I trained at Salford University where I gained a BSc (Honours) degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. I am fully qualified and insured to practice and a member of the British Acupuncture Council. I come from a background of sports physiotherapy, but have also trained to second degree in Reiki healing. I have also trained in deep-tissue massage and myofascial release under the internationally recognised Art Riggs. Using my unique combination of skills I have already been able to help guide many people back to full health.

There is a little-known style of acupuncture called Tung's style acupuncture which is somewhat more advanced than most standard training in this country. I have learned these techniques from the highly regarded Daoist Master Dr.Henry Mcann.  It is these techniques which mean coming to see me may yield a result where others have failed. For painful conditions, you could normally expect to notice a reduction in pain within just 2 minutes! These sort of results just have be seen to be believed.

I believe you are unique. That is why you need a treatment which is unique, not just some routine or a prescription out of a book. Unlike other therapists, I don't try and squeeze appointments into 30 or 45 minute slots, I'm confident I can make a difference and sometimes that takes a little longer..so appointments may last an hour or more.

I live for my work and love what I do. It would be great to hear from you, so get in touch
